The convenient way to pay

With Illinois Community Credit Union’s VISA Debit Card, you can replace your checkbook, ATM card, and even the cash in your wallet for one easy, convenient way to pay. ICCU’s Debit Card works much like a credit card but links directly to your Checking Account.  With just a swipe, you can use your Debit Card anywhere VISA is accepted, worldwide.

With ICCU’s VISA Debit Card, you can:

  • Use it online, in store, or over the phone
  • Access to your money 24 hours a day, wherever you are
  • Withdraw cash at any ATM*
  • Use it anywhere VISA is accepted, worldwide

To report a lost or stolen card, contact us at (815) 895-4541. After normal business hours, call (800) 472-3272 and select option 2.

Please be aware when using your debit card at a gas station, that often they will hold funds to ensure there are sufficient amounts to cover a transaction. This applies for selecting either credit or debit when paying.

Going on vacation? Let us know before you go!
If you are planning a trip out of town, and plan to use your debit or credit card, let us know before you leave. That way, your service will not be interrupted and you can continue to enjoy using your card while you are away.

*ATM machines not owned and operated by Illinois Community Credit Union may charge a fee for usage. This fee is from the ATM owner and not ICCU.

Easy-To-Switch Kit

Welcome! Now that you’ve opened an account with Illinois Community Credit Union, we want to take the worry (and work) out of changing financial institutions.  Simply fill out these applications and return the signed forms to Illinois Community Credit Union.


STEP 1:   Complete the Direct Deposit Request Form (link below).  This form authorizes your employer to deposit the amounts you indicate into your ICCU account.

STEP 2: Transfer a part, or all, of your balances from your old financial institution.  Use the Authorization to Transfer Funds Form to transfer funds to ICCU (link below).

STEP 3:  Close your account at your former financial institution when all your outstanding checks and automatic debits have cleared.  Complete the Authorization to Close Account Form (link below), then destroy old checks, deposit tickets, ATM, and debit cards.

Complete and return the signed forms to ICCU.  You can mail, fax, or email your forms.
