This member family has some big plans this summer!

This active family of five—Tracy, Jim and children Will, Lilly and Alice – will hit the road in style this summer with their new Keystone Passport, which they purchased with an RV loan from ICCU.

Tracy claims it was the rain that first sparked the idea of owning an RV.  “We love tent-camping, being outdoors, and enjoying nature as a family, but after one downpour too many, it was time to explore other options.”

After many months of research, the family purchased the Keystone, plus a new tow vehicle this spring. At just under 28’, the trailer fits all their needs and pulls beautifully.

Before buying the RV, Tracy picked up a small notebook and jotted down the places the family wanted to visit. For this year, Maquoketa Caves in Iowa, Rock Cut State Park, and Big Foot Beach in Wisconsin all made the list. But the big adventure is planned for later this year when the family will visit a cousin in Arizona and spend a week exploring the wonders of the Grand Canyon state.

Yellowstone is on the agenda in 2018, with stops planned at the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and Devils Tower in Wyoming.

As members of ICCU for over five years, the family has secured several loans through the credit union. Tracy said,  "Every experience has been as great as the first.  Knowing that ICCU is on our side and looking out for our best interests gives us more confidence to negotiate better deals and helps us feel more secure in our purchases.”

Asked what her dream adventure would look like, Tracy didn’t hesitate, saying: “Our dream trip would be touring the Grand Circle which includes all five Utah national parks, plus the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, Monument Valley and Lake Powell.”

Sounds like this family is in for some amazing adventures.  Happy trails!
